The Town
Center Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in
the West Windsor-Plainsboro Schools is an active private
nonprofit volunteer organization where parents and teachers
work together to provide educational, fun, and enriching
programs for children and their families. We are a branch
of and .
All parents are encouraged to become actively
involved in joining the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings.
We were established June 11,2002. Membership dues are $5 a
year.
The PTA is dedicated to education, health, safety and well-being
for all children.
The purpose and objectives of the Town
Center Elementary School PTA are in common
with those of the and the . They are:
- To promote the welfare of children and youth in home,
school, place of worship,
and community.
- To raise the standards of home life.
- To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of
children and youth.
- To bring into closer relation the home and the school,
that parents and teachers
may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
- To develop between educators and the general public united
efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest
advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
