The Town Center Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Schools is an active private nonprofit volunteer organization where parents and teachers work together to provide educational, fun, and enriching programs for children and their families. We are a branch of New Jersey PTA and National PTA.

All parents are encouraged to become actively involved in joining the PTA and are welcome to attend meetings. We were established June 11,2002. Membership dues are $5 a year.

The PTA is dedicated to education, health, safety and well-being for all children.

The purpose and objectives of the Town Center Elementary School PTA are in common with those of the National PTA and the New Jersey PTA. They are:

  • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, place of worship,
    and community.

  • To raise the standards of home life.

  • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.

  • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers
may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

  • To develop between educators and the general public united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
